Zep & Rae is an AI-powered platform designed to help individuals and couples improve communication and understand relationship dynamics. The Service uses artificial intelligence to provide coaching-style conversations and insights.

3. Important Disclaimers — Please Read Carefully

Not Professional Therapy

Zep & Rae is NOT a substitute for professional mental health treatment, therapy, counseling, or medical advice. Our AI provides general relationship coaching and communication support only.

Not Crisis Support

This Service is not designed to handle mental health crises. If you are experiencing thoughts of self-harm, suicide, or are in immediate danger, please contact:

AI Limitations

Our AI may make mistakes, misunderstand context, or provide suggestions that are not appropriate for your specific situation. Always use your own judgment and consult qualified professionals for important decisions.

4. Beta Service

The Service is currently in beta. This means:

  • Features may change or be removed without notice
  • The Service may contain bugs or errors
  • Availability is not guaranteed
  • Data may be lost (though we take precautions to prevent this)

5. User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about yourself
  • Not use the Service for illegal purposes
  • Not attempt to manipulate or abuse the AI system
  • Not share your account credentials with others
  • Not use the Service if you are under 18 years of age
  • Respect your partner's privacy if using the couples feature

6. Partner Features

If you choose to connect with a partner on the platform:

  • Both partners must consent to the connection
  • The AI may use insights from both accounts to provide coaching
  • Direct message transcripts are never shared between partners
  • Either partner may disconnect the link at any time
  • Privacy levels can be adjusted in settings

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its AI models, design, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your personal content but grant us a license to process it for providing the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service
  • We are not responsible for decisions you make based on AI suggestions
  • We are not liable for any relationship outcomes

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice. You may also delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.
